Surfrider: July Beach Cleanup
Join Surfrider Vancouver Island and our community partners for a rewarding morning of caring for the coastline we all love. Beach cleanups are not only an effective way to remove harmful debris but also a chance to connect with fellow ocean advocates and learn about local conservation efforts.
During this two-hour event, we’ll be combing the shorelines of Witty’s Lagoon to collect litter, plastics, and other debris. Afterward, everything we gather will be responsibly sorted, recycled, and disposed of with help from our sustainability partners at Atlas Junk Removal. Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or brand new to Surfrider, everyone is welcome—friends, family, and kids included.
