LUNA Fest
LUNA Fest is a 3-day festival of Art and Wonder, transforming the streets of downtown Revelstoke into a reimagined space full of interactive art installations and performers. Friday night is LUNA Sound consisting of 11 bands across 4 stages, Saturday is a celebration of nocturnal art and wonder, and Sunday is our family-friendly day-time event.
Registration for this project is now closed.
Two ways to explore the projects and register:
Download the Re:BC App! This is the best way to explore this year’s projects and keep all your registration details in one place.
For those not able to utilize the app, volunteers can sign up by selecting the project they want to participate in and filling out the form directly through the website.

Project Details
Dates and Times:
Friday, September 20, 2024 – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – 5 Spots
Saturday, September 21, 2024 – 8:00am – 5:00 pm – 15 spots , 6:00 pm – 12:00 am – 5 spots
Labor intensity (1-5): We have opportunities from 1-4
- Rank 1: roles would include staffing our information booths, passing out maps etc.
- Rank 2: roles would include selling merch, roving the streets and assisting with art installations as needed.
- Rank 3: roles that include some element of crowd control such as counting how many people can go into a venue at a given time as a door attendant.
- Rank 4: would be what we need the most help with and that’s setting up the event on the day of LUNA Arts. These roles would range from very physical (lifting, hanging lights, ladder work) under the supervision of a quadrant manager to light physical work setting up tents etc.
Approximate shift start/end times: The majority of volunteers are needed between 8 am and 5 pm on September 21st, but a few will be required from 6 pm to Midnight. There is the potential to have this broken into two shifts. Volunteer shift times will be confirmed post-registration.
Indoors, outdoors: Both, but mostly outside
