Rated as one of the ten best gardens in Canada by Canadian Geographic, this oceanside oasis combines ancient forests and intentional horticulture into a natural marvel fit for royalty. Operated by Vancouver Island University, this garden serves not only to welcome visitors to explore the tranquil grounds or enjoy an afternoon tea but also as a teaching facility. Students with the VIU Horticulture program spend time learning to care for the variety of native and exotic species in the gardens.
