“The Paradise Paradox” offers a long-overdue look at the silent mental health crisis affecting mountain towns.

Executive produced by Olympic ski racer Bode Miller and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Brett Rapkin, this compelling documentary examines the challenges facing these communities while highlighting innovative solutions. The film features remarkable athletes, including 2023 ESPY Award-winner Mikaela Shiffrin, alongside the dedicated individuals and families who keep mountain towns thriving.

The evening begins with a keynote from Kevin Thomas of the Revelstoke Mountain Resort Patrol, who will share his personal mental health journey, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.

Admission is free, and donations will be gratefully accepted on-site for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
