Runs from April 15th - Oct. 31st 2026 Hello outdoor enthusiasts! With towering trees and open trails, Prince George is the place to be. With more than 100 km of trails around the city, come forest bathe and stroll through nature. As you rack up the kilometres, we have some milestone prizes to keep you motivated.Be one of the first 50 people to check in at 5 trails and earn a $10 gift card to a local cafe. Or be one of the first 13 to complete 15 trails, and a shrub* will be planted in your honour by the David Douglas Garden Society in Khasdzoon Yusk’ut Botanical Garden*Exact species chosen based on garden needs. (If you’re having trouble checking in, send the app support team a photo from the location and the visit date. Note: visits before pass activation don’t count.)</li><li>Each check-in earns points, redeem them for prizes once you collect enough!</li></ol>The Trail Passport is available until October 31, 2026, and prizes are available while quantities last.

As the sun sets, the entire town comes alive to join in the festivities, making it one of the most memorable weekends of the year.

The British Columbia Environmental Film Festival (BCEFF) is a film festival who's mission is to raise global awareness about the environment and promote a healthy future. Through film, they spread awareness of environmental issues and stories of hope that are occurring throughout the world. You will see documentaries from top film makers, but also full-length dramatic feature films, short films, and animations that effectively tell stories that convey an environmental message in an entertaining manner. This film festival is special because it bridges the gap between the scientific community and the film industry. They promote a culture where films can be reviewed for scientific accuracy and featured in our annual film festivals. Each year they spotlight a different aspect of our environment, such as the health of the oceans or the effects of climate change, and present a special award for the best film within that focus.
