BCEFF - In person experience

The British Columbia Environmental Film Festival (BCEFF) is a film festival who's mission is to raise global awareness about the environment and promote a healthy future. Through film, they spread awareness of environmental issues and stories of hope that are occurring throughout the world. You will see documentaries from top film makers, but also full-length dramatic feature films, short films, and animations that effectively tell stories that convey an environmental message in an entertaining manner.
This film festival is special because it bridges the gap between the scientific community and the film industry. They promote a culture where films can be reviewed for scientific accuracy and featured in our annual film festivals. Each year they spotlight a different aspect of our environment, such as the health of the oceans or the effects of climate change, and present a special award for the best film within that focus.
