Hit The Trails Challenge

Runs from April 15th - Oct. 31st 2026
Hello outdoor enthusiasts! With towering trees and open trails, Prince George is the place to be. With more than 100 km of trails around the city, come forest bathe and stroll through nature. As you rack up the kilometres, we have some milestone prizes to keep you motivated.

Be one of the first 50 people to check in at 5 trails and earn a $10 gift card to a local cafe. Or be one of the first 13 to complete 15 trails, and a shrub* will be planted in your honour by the David Douglas Garden Society in Khasdzoon Yusk’ut Botanical Garden

*Exact species chosen based on garden needs. Please note that no individual name plaques will be made.

How it Works: Runs from April 15th - Oct. 31st 2026

1. Visit the Passport Trail page on the Tourism Prince George website (click here)

2. Sign up for the Hit the Trail Passport.

3. Open the Passport Trail on your phone and add it to your home screen for easy access.

4. Head out and explore participating trail locations.

5. Use your mobile device to check in at each spot. (If you’re having trouble checking in, send the app support team a photo from the location and the visit date. Note: visits before pass activation don’t count.)

6. Each check-in earns points, redeem them for prizes once you collect enough!

The Trail Passport is available until October 31, 2026, and prizes are available while quantities last.
